Push notifications solve this by sending an alert directly to your browser — even when you're not on ChatGroups.com. When a group owner updates their status to indicate open availability, every follower with push enabled receives a notification with a link to the group page.

What triggers a push notification:

  • 🟡 Group status changed to "Almost full" — A few spots remain; join before it fills up
